The engine (externally) looks to be in good shape - it wasn't left partially disassembled, or anything that would cause me to suspect it's shot...
HOWEVER
When I connect the starter terminals directly to the battery (bypassing all the electronics, and the ignition relay) nothing happens, and the wires start to heat up...
No noise, no click, no nothing...
So, either (A) starter is toast, or (b) starter is good, engine is frozen....
Any suggestions? I'm about to go out and pull the starter, to see if it turns when NOT in the engine...."
