I have a 23ft slickcraft with

I have a 23ft slickcraft with a 1974 302 188. I bought a volvo penta 305 newer model (120 hrs). I need to know what bell housing will fit the new 305 and bolt to the old 888 outdrive?

1 from a Chevy that was bolted to a Model 1 drive....
It won't matter if it's a Chevy 4cyl., 6cyl,. or V8....
They're All the Same..."
 
The engine is a late 90s 305 v

The engine is a late 90s 305 volvo penta with a 2 barrel carb. I bought the flywheel housing last night. All i need now is the coupler the one i have is off the 302 ford small round style. I think I need the big triangle style?

Seirra is selling a Retrofit small crankshaft mounted Coupler to deal with the crankshaft bolt pattern change,....
I'd suggest you find 1 of Those....

I'm not exactly Sure that the large flywheel mounted triangler Couplers will Clear the Flywheel Cover....

Is it the Wide bolt pattern rear motor mounts,..??
I believe your transom plate is the 15" spacing pattern....

Later models are only 9"..."
