"Does anyone know where I can get the shift cable stud spacer that goes on the shift control cable stud at the valve cover; or maybe what size it is so I can get something capatible from the hardware store? I've lost mine during a rebuild & cannot adjust my cable to go into reverse without the cut out switch shutting off my engine. It's an 1988 merc 3.0 Alpha one. The mercruiser part number is 23-98820, but it is a discontinued part. Thganks for any help."
