"I have installed a new Tow Sport 5.7 MPI into my 21' North River Jet Boat. Has anyone had experience with the change over from sterndrive to jet drive?
I am having issues with the alarm going off. The engine heat is normal at 175 degrees. I am using the jet drive water supply to cool the engine. The engine runs fine up to 3,000 RPMs and then the alarm comes on.
Can it be a water supply pressure issue or could the computor not be in sinch with the RPMs and HP of the engine and the Torque on the jet pump.
