you have indicated in many threads that poor raw water flow could be caused by the hose connector at the outdrive.
Not being based in the USA, the drawings that you post links to are not available to me.
Can you kindly explain how I find this connector so that I can check it?
All I can see on my engine is a stainless steel tube connected directly to the outdrive where it bolts to the transom. Water is fed from there to the power steering oil cooler and then to the raw water pump. Where should I be looking for the connector that you refer to that can make the pump suck air if it is corroded?
