Hello ! I am trying to identify year and options of a motor. I have a chance to buy a motor that has a model # of 40HEO serial #6H4L401020. Was told it is a 1984 40hp tiller with electric start no power tilt. Any help would greatly be appreciated. THANKS

"Try to look at similar motors at http://www.outboard-shop.com/ and see the year. I think a 1984 model is the first year with the new series motors. The 1983 model looks much older."
