"Folks,

Just bought a new Faria tach, the new tach has an hour meter built in, this is the only difference as far as I know.

Installed the new tach, transferred all the wires over exactly like before, started the engine and the tach is not reading. It seems to me that the new tach moved but it moved the wrong way, counter clockwise instead of clockwise.

Should I move the gray signal wire from the engine coil to the other side? I really don't want to do this because it may screw up something else.

Please advise. Thank you."

There are three connection points from the old, it says battery, ground and signal axactly the same goes to the new, not much to it to confuse. I may have to return the thing and get a new one I suppose."
