"I have a 21ft.Limited 205HP B

"I have a 21ft.Limited 205HP BR chris craft 4.3L V6LX with dual controls, one for throttle and one for shift.(Factory). When i shift from back into neutral or reverse back into neutral, the engine dies. What do you think the problem is?

Ayuh is probably correct..ie:

Ayuh is probably correct..ie: lower shift cable...meaning the cable that goes from the cutout switch on the top of the engine down through the transom...you could try lubing it for a temporary fix. (killing of the engine is normal to aid shifting however if cable is sticky engine will quit)

"The cable does stretch some, might need a adjustment,(small) and when your there you can take the spring that under the cut out switch, and stretch it apart some so the cut switch works faster. Little trick that can be done to the thing....
you can try and lub it from the top with BP Spray sometimes this works to.
