Lower unit

"When filling lower unit oil, oil started coming out of water intake inlet. Is there a overflow valve system for the lower unit oil?

"Dave,

That does not sound good. There is no way for the oil to get into the water intake, unless a seal has gone bad, on the casing is corroded or cracked.
