"I have a 1999 yamaha c90 that had not been run in 18 months. I drained the gas tank, cleaned carbs, added new gas, new filter, new plugs, and new battery.
It starts, idles, and runs in neutral fine. When it is placed under a load in reverse it will run. When put under a load in forward, it cuts off at about 1000-1200rpms. It will start right back up and idle fine.
Any suggestions on what to try next?"
