"Hi, I just picked up a Suzuki 8 hp, vintage mid to late '90s. I need to change the lower unit oil. What is the oil capacity for this motor? This uses the usual weight oil (80/90?)? If you have a basic owner's manual you would be willing to photocopy and send me I would pay your expenses. Thanks, Larry"

"Larry, there is a good web site called Browns Point Marine Service. They offer manuals and they also have part scematics online. Good suzuki web site. I have a 1987 DT8 and I use the the 80/90 weight oil in it. It holds about .5 quarts. Remove both oil screws and fill from the bottom one until oil is visable in the top screw hole."
