"Just started my beachcraft Sunday and it ran great for 10 min. Took it in and Mechanic says you didn't winterize it and you have a cracked block. $1200-1800 to fix it. I owe $1800 to the bank. I rebuilt the top half last winter ran great. I need a a full short block assembly. Where is a good place to get it. Don't know if it is even worth it. 1986 26ft beachcraft cuddy cabin in decent shape! Mecjanic said I might get $500 for the boat and tralier but not much more, definitely less than I owe. Kinda tapped for fund this summer. Sons tranny just went in his explorer, and a planned vacation. any ideas??"
