"My outboard runs like a champ, I can rev it up and it sound great while auto choke is on. When the auto choke shuts off after starting it Idles rough and dies , The carbs (3) have been rebulit. I could use any help to fix this myself, before I take to a Mechanic.

"Who rebuilt the carbs? In my experience, sometimes you miss something the first time through. Sounds like clogged jets/passages. Use carb cleaner and compressed air thru all 3 completely disassembled carbs. If absolutely sure they are completely clean, it could be an air leak at the intake. Spray starting fluid on carb/intake mating surfaces to check for leak. If leak, engine will rev as it sucks in the fluid. This could mean the o-rings need replacing between carbs and intake. Check for vacuum hose split/leak.
