Seized engine

i have just bought a 21 foot c

i have just bought a 21 foot capri with a 3.0 liter in it but the head gasket was gone when he stored the boat.now the engine is seized and i was wondereing if i could put in a car engine to replace it. all info grealy appreciated

Dig back in this site, you'll fine a thousand posts asking the same question. Bottom line, there is no automotive equivilent to the marine 3.0. Your best bet is to buy a remanufactured longblock. They are redily available and come with a warranty. By the way, since you have your wallet out, you might want to consider upgrading to a larger motor. If you find a complete package reasonable you will be pleased with the increase in performance. Bayliner was never known for overpowering their product.

decded to do a rebuild but the

decded to do a rebuild but the only problem is i cant get a shop manual for a few weeks.
can anyone give me the torque specs for this engine??
