I have a 2004 90 aeto yamaha o
I have a 2004 90 aeto yamaha outboard that is over charging while it is idling at about 900rpm the volt meter is reading between 15 and 16 volts while idling.when the engine is driven above 2400rpm the voltage drops back to 14.6 volts is this a battery problem or is it a regulator/rectifier problem.
Any help would be appreciated
