I just aquired a 20' home

I just aquired a 20' home built wood frame dory (project to say the least) Has a Chrysler Ace Marine M46 that was supposed to have been running a year or so ago. Right now I am lust looking for general info. Are they rebuildable ? Is it worth it? How much does this thing way in case I decide to look at other options. I am not that concerned about speed as I am reliability.

Any gear heads out there with experience with this fine old beast?

Rebuildable but getting hard to find parts."
