"I have 2 Honda 4-stroke 50hp outboard motors and every now and then the flywheel bolts break just before the bolt threads. Has anyone every heard of such a problem. I had the dealer install new ones at least 4 different times on both motors, they cannot see a problem with the motor or the flywheel. A couple of friends of mine had to replace the same bolts in their Honda motors.
The outboards are used on a 25' fishing boat.
one motor is a 1999 and the other is a 2004
