"I am looking at a boat with DD 4-71 TI´s.Any suggestions. Time between major overhauls,etc...

"THE 71 SERIES ENGINE IS AS GOOG AS THEY GET,THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND SENCE WW2, AS IT IS A 2CYL IT DOSE LIKE TO LEAK SOME OIL AROUND GSKT NOW AND THEN.KEEP UP ON OIL, FILTER, FUEL FILTER AND AIR ILET AND IT WILL RUN FOR MANY HRS."

Where can I send the oil sample in the U.S?.Do you know any lab close to West Palm Beach.This boat is not in the U.S.

You should be able to get an o

You should be able to get an oil analysis kit from any DD dealer. I've done this with several engines. It's worth the few dollars you'll spend.
