"Called 6 shops today, 4 said,

"Called 6 shops today, 4 said,, the origianal plug
was a QL77JC4 AND IN 98 CHANGED TO QL78YC,, the
other 2 shops said it was just the opposite.
The first 4 shops seemed very sure of the
QL78YC being the correct updated plug...
HELP PLEASE !!! WHATS THE SCOOP ??? THANKS GUYS"

"Thanks Doug and Tom. I guess the date of the manual is important, since the OMC tech update
was @ 1998. My OMC MANUAL states QL77JC4 also
but the print date is 96. The 4 most recomended
shops in my area said the updated plug is most
definately QL78YC AS OF AROUND 1998. So far I
am at 4 to 3 in favor of the QL78YC. THANKS again
for your replies, your info is appreciated."

changed there recomendation. I guess I will
