I am trying to trac

"Hi guys,
I am trying to track down the source of a mysterious alarm. All gauges look fine but when I'm plowing along I get an alarm. Sometimes it's a quick beep and sometimes its more of a 2 or 3 second beep. Again, all gauges read A-OK and are (from what I can tell) operting normally.

So where do I start? How many "alarm points" are there? Oil Pressure, water temp, drive oil reservoir level? Any I'm missing?

"Most rigs have one alarm, with two or three causes:
- High coolant temperature
- Low oil pressure
If installed:
- Low oil level in stern drive reservior.
My guess is a corroded wire somewhere making intermitent contact to ground."
