"Is Berryman B-12 safe to use

"Is Berryman B-12 safe to use on a marine carb rebuild, meaning that I'm going to give it a soak in a gallon can of it?

I just didn't want to ruin the finish inside the carb."

I dont know about the B-12 product but if you submerge the entire bowl assy. you could end up w/fuel leaks at the casting plugs like I did. The paint will also come off.

On my next rebuild I plan to soak all but the bowl and just fill the bowl w/cleaner after pluging the holes. A can or two of SEA FOAM will clean out a carb bowl and parts.
