"Bought a secondhand motor &#4

"Bought a secondhand motor (3 cylinder) and trying to fix the above problem, the carbs were rebuilt with new seals galore but to no avail....
New fuel line, bulb and tank.
The motor has nearly no power if throttle is opened slowly but at a certian point the revs just takes off and runs smoothly
All help will be appreciated as i'm on a tight budget at the moment. Thanks in advance."
 
It sounds like the low rpm sid

It sounds like the low rpm side of the stator/rotor is causing you issues. There really is no way to test this besides testing with a known good unit.
