"Guys if you need a manual Via online for a alpha one outdrive and or a 3.0 lx give me a hollar [email protected] ill be glad to send also one question when on the water and pulling my daugthers on a tube ( thinking about everytime they have made me mad) going around 35mph trying to dump them and when i actually do i have to go get them i kill the boat and it take around 3 or 4 times of turning the key before ill ever get power to the starter could this be a faulty ignition switch??"
 
check remote and starter solen

check remote and starter solenoids.
Check for trigger voltage at starter and if voltage good you may have a sticky solenoid on starter. trace trigger voltage all the way from switch to starter to diag. Sounds as though once solenoid is hot it fails to trigger.

"Try Kurt's suggestion first. If it's ok then jump the slave solenoid large studs to see if the starter fires up; if it does, replace the slave solenoid."
