Fuel pump question

I have just cleaned carbs and

I have just cleaned carbs and going to replace all the fuel lines while i'm at it. The fuel pump has a line going under the motor. i'm assuming that this is the vacuum line. It looks like it could be tough to get to and if something would break off it a bear to get to. The fuel ines look like they are in good shape on the outside but i wanted to replace them as a precaution. Just figured some of you guys had crossed this bridge before. sometime things are best left alone and i'm wondering if this might be one. thanks
