I made a mistake on that last

I made a mistake on that last post it's a 485 mercruiser with a rochester carb.
Started it tonight and it seems to run ok but bogs down for a second or 2 on advancing throttle kinda like my old chevy truck with a bad excelerater pump.

Could this be the prob.it has sat for better part of a yr.

"Could be accel pump.
Check for gas shots down the bores while someone else advances the throttle. With the engine off!
Could also be crud in the bowl that is plugging off the fuel to the venturi clusters, but then it will tend to bog and stall at all higher throttle openings due to lean mixture.
