"took the cyl head off today and found the top cyl liner has turned 3/4inch clockwise in the casting,has anyone heard of this before ? found out the previous owner over heated it big style. do ya think there is any chance of turning it back without a strip down.ie. heat block and chill liner.??"

"damn.....u dont see that every day....are u SURE this is the case?.
if so,..u will need to do a compl overhaul,and resleeve that cyl....a serious overheat,and this could be a poss...but rare!...if he got it that HOT,...it needs to be gone thru anyway...
tear it down,find an outboard,or mtr cycle shop and get it resleeved,ck very well the other cyl's."
