"I noticed quite a bit of reddish oil in the bilge water. Looks to be power steering fluid, and I can see some residue dripping into the bilge from the pump area. Question is... where do these pumps typically leak from? I can;t seem to trace the source."

Is the PS pump full? There are only 4 hose connections on the PS; 2 at the pump and 2 at the ram. Wipe these areas w/a white rag or paper towel. Hose w/pressed fitting is high pressure side and screw clamps are low pressure. Connection may be loose.

What color is the power trim fluid? ATF red? How is the level in the reservior? Reservior may be leaking from the bottom screw and seal if a plastic tank.

"Yes it's atf red color. The pump is now full after I added some additioanl PS fluid that I picked up from the gas station. This was a clear fluid, it says ok to mix with other PS fluid. This is ok, right?"
