what was the last year the 292
what was the last year the 292 or 312 was installed? i'm looking at a boat that is supposedly a '66 but wouldn't they have switched to the 289 by then? this engine has to be the orig due to the shape/size of motor cover (very close/tight fit to engine). thanks for any input.
