I have a old boat with a 4 cyl

I have a old boat with a 4 cyl number 3677561 on mercury marine block tag.
neede a block. what engine might I have? is there any outomotive engines that used the same block??i

Where are you at Brian?
Edmonton has a block shop in the west end. I was there last year and he had a couple 253 ci 4 cyl blocks that I got an oil filter pressure valve out of.
