I have a 2002 yamaha 115 hp 4-
I have a 2002 yamaha 115 hp 4-sroke with less than 500 hours. Runs great except at 3500 to 4000 rpm it will completely die and then come back to full power immediately and run perfect until the next sputter which is instantaneous.
I put new plugs in this year. Local mecahnic says fuel injectors need cleaning but wouldn't that be more of a gradual performance decrease instead of the instant on/off power I'm experiencing?
