94 Maxim 2000 Sr2 with 4.3 wit

94 Maxim 2000 Sr2 with 4.3 with alpha one drive.
Wondering what the max revs should be and what prop(s) is/are recommended.

I believe it's 4200/ 4600rpms with the 2bbl. carb,..
And, 4400/4800rpms with the 4bbl. carb....

The prop that allows the motor to run at those rpms at WOT, normal loading...."

"Try either a 19" or 21". If its a light boat, the 21" is what you want.
If you are more interested in skiing performance go with the 19".

"You might like a "cupped&

"You might like a "cupped" blade 19" for that unit. Gives low end performance like a 19", but higher top end approaching a 21". Some prop shops will test, or allow you to test, on your boat so you know before you buy what performance will be.."
 
I have a 20 ft open bow larson

I have a 20 ft open bow larson it a 1986 with a 3.7L and I use a 21 pitch with a cup ad its great out of the hole and good top end... love the cupped part it made a world of differnce...
 
I have 3200 lb. empty 19'

I have 3200 lb. empty 19' Baretta w/a 4.3L & 2BBL carb @175 HP and use a SS 21P X 15.25" for pulling and a SS 21P X 14.25" for cruising. The 14.25" gives me the best WOT. I tried a SS 19P X 14.25" but lost my S... & Get.
