"I have a 2002 four winns horizon with a 5.0 LT GXI engine my temp guage consistantly read 175 deg since I had the boat from new. Last season temp started rising previouse to this the dealer change the impeller.After last season I brought the boat back to him they did diagnosed it to the sender I ran the engine and used a pyrometer on the inlet to thermostat area and it read what the guage read almost 200 deg , at the sender the temp was in the area of 165 to 175 .I would like to know what the temp should be at the inlet to the thermostat and I did also change the thermostat last year as soon as I noticed the temp rising .I am not sure what else to try but the way it is running still points to not enough cooling water thanks in advance for any advice. The temp comes down when I go back to low speed and idle."
