"Are you talking about an AQ200D? If so, that's a 305 Chev. If you are replacing the whole package (engine, bellhousing, exhaust Y-pipe, transom shield, leg, etc which hopefully you got from someone for a good price), then it should work provided the boat can handle the extra weight. But if you are thinking to just replace the engine, my advice is to stay away from it. By the time you buy new manifolds & risers, then find that you need a new Y-pipe, a new (or used) bellhousing, a new (or used) transom shield, and a 1.61:1 gearset for the leg, you will wish you never started the project."
