have a 1988 24 ft searay using

have a 1988 24 ft searay using it for fishinf trying to slow troll speed down was told to change prop. Engine rpms at 800 below that wants to stall any help would be apreciated

your a little high at 800rpm and should be able
to idle in gear @ 600-700 without issues.
I have turned my idle down to 500 for trolling before but Get a slow increase in temp for lack of water flow. otherwise I would be looking at a full tune up.
I don't think a reprop will give you what your looking for as far boat speed at idle. Also consider a trolling motor.

thanks the boat has sat for a while and probably could use a good tune up thanks for the info heres the dumb question what info should I need for the marina to supply me with the right parts plugs cap rotor fuel filter ect..
