"I have 1994 350 mag commander, replaced existing holly none marine carb mechanical choke with rochester quad jet marine electric choke, boat ran fine with holly but with new carb motor sputters a bit at higher speeds. Also were does electric choke wire come from to connect to choke?"

Look for a purple wire that has 12 volts w/ignition on. Needs ground wire too.
 
Find a purple wire w/12 volts

Find a purple wire w/12 volts when the ignition is in the "on" position. There are a number of "black" ground wires on the engine.
