Have a 1977 Sea Star

"Hey,

Have a 1977 Sea Star. Has an inboard mercruiser 888. Wiring is a nightmare. Need to rewire the tilt pump completly. It only has one selenoid on it. Does anyone have a wiring diagram, or know what wires go were? Also need to know the routing of the trim hoses on the inside of the boat. Thank you for your help."

Need to know what wires go to the selenoid on the tilt pump. Only one I am sure is a hot on one side, big post. Need the other side big post, and two small posts. Also the bracket on the back of the motor, where the shift cables go to. It has a couple of switchs on it need to know where they go.

Is yours a 1976? That is the only year I show that the model 888 was offered.
Looks like it was superseded the following year by the model 898 using the 305 GM SB engine.
The two big posts should be a heavy red wire to the battery + post and a heavy black wire to the battery - post.
