does anyone know which one of the three "valves" is responsible when the drive returns back down after a while,although i try to keep it up to a certain position. I hope the photo of the valve housing will help.

"The 'leak down' may not be in the pump, rather in the pistons themselves. I rebuilt my trim pump only to realize the same problem. In the older AQs, the o-ring within the trim piston wears and fluid leaks by."

On the older AQ drives, I found that you can use a $0.75 OMC o-ring to solve the problem. VP does not list a replacement o-ring, but I found the OMC part # from an online source.
