"I was given a boat, a 1977 Marlin (runabout) and want to get it running. A local mechanic, friend, said the motor is seized. He said the motor is a Ford 302 (it says 175 OMC) on the top. I don't know much about boats. sorry. We want to put in a motor to replace this one. I have read some about marizing a motor. My question is can I get any 302 and put it in and use the parts from the old motor to make it work. Any help would be great!"
