"I have a 2001 Carb.150HP and after running it and shutting it off I smell a strong gas smell and see gas floating on the water around the motor it will quit after a short time,anyone else had this issue,float sticking?"
 
"Gas is going out through the

"Gas is going out through the exhaust. You could have two issues; the first is that you have sticking floats (but this should mean the engine is loading up and running rough at low rpms). Or, you have bad plugs [and/or] coils and you are not firing all the fuel in the system."
