Replacing blown 130 c with 125 a

I have just aquiried a complet

I have just aquiried a complete vp 125a to swap in where my blown 130 c now rests. I would like to know if i can expect any problems during the swap. The engines seem to occupy the same foot print. I was wondering what other parts I might need to hook everything up. I have the exhaust pipe already. Will the distributer work from the 130 on 125 or will the pertronix from the 130 work in the 125. Will I need to reprop. The hp rating is within 15 i believe of each other. The boat is a 76 reinell tri hull 17.5' with a 280 leg. Thanks in advance for your insight.

"The distributors are not interchangeable, but the Pertronix modules are.

Regarding the prop, you may want to test it first, as it may work just fine. But if you need to come a couple of inches down in pitch, any prop shop can repitch your current prop for a reasonable price."
