"Hi I have installed riser and elbow gaskets (with new parts) on both of my motors with permatex ultra copper silicone on the blue/green graphite ringed waxy gaskets. So far no leaks that I know of. But it is freaking me out as I now know to install these gaskets dry and I am not wanting the water in cylinder problem. Should I pull all gaskets and replace them dry like they are suposed to be or will they be ok with the silicone on them? Thanks, I replaced one engine already and am not in a hurry to do that kind of wrenching anytime soon."
