"Hi all I am fairly new to boating and am starting out with old equipment to start out with. I was able to pick up a 1966 fiberform 15' without an outboard for a really good price(free) and have the opportunity to get my hands on a Johnson Gold meteor 100 motor for very cheap, but I am unsure if this might possibly be too much motor for this vessel? I would hate to sink the boat its first trip out, or even worse get injured. So if any one can give me some insight into this matter it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Matt."
