i am new at this so i do need

i am new at this so i do need some help.i have a 83 cobia with a 4.3 chevy v6.the engine block is cracked.can i use any 4.3 chevy engine or does it have to be a marine.what is the diff?

thanks for the help.i am transfering everything from the marine engine to the car engine.what is the diff. with the camshafts?also going to install the brass soft plugs.thanks for the help.

The cam is a low rpm design with reduced valve overlap (to prevent water ingestion).

Be sure to change the engine c

Be sure to change the engine circulating pump as well. The marine pump has a stainless steel back plate and a bronze impeller. The automtive pump will not hold up in salt water.
