"I am trying to purchase a 1991 SeaRay 270 with a 7.4, 330HP, Bravo II, aluminum prop (do not know prop size). Does anyone have any experience with this set up as to how well it will handle that boat with a full tank of gas and six adults on board? Also, what RPM should it turn at 30 MPH, and what should the cylinder compression should be?

330 HP is plenty of power, there should be a tag somewhere in the boat that will tell you the "max persons" or max weight, a tank of gas will not last long. as to rpm's at 30 MPH, this will greatly be determined by the pitch of the prop, it should be marked but i am guessing a 23 or 25."
