"I have a problem when I am under power. The port side drive falls slowly. I left the drives up all winter, they have not moved. It is either the trim pump or the cylinders. How can I test this? The pump has a round top and the resevoir is on the bottom."
 
"look for water in the trim oi

"look for water in the trim oil. check the trim oil level, depending on year the trim pump will have a vent/fill/dipstick. This is not to be tightened all the way. It is tightened until it stops and back 1 turn so it vents. Check trim level with drives down."
