"Last week my brother and I pulled the motor and inspected the Y pipe/inner transome assm. for possible cause of 1-2 gallons of water in bilge after a cruise of 10 miles. The Y pipe bolts did not seem loose and there was no corrosion and the mating surfaces looked new. The o-ring did seem hard. I replaced the o-ring and put everything back together using perfect seal. Tested the boat Friday for about 8 miles, no more leak. I don't know how many thousands of dollars I saved but this was a big job. We got started at 8am and had it back together at 4pm."
