Torqueing the front end crankcase nut

I have replaced the front end seal on my hino and i need to know how to torque on the large nut on end of crankcase

"I'm considering a 1986 boat with 220 H.P. Hinos with 4300 hrs.on them. Is this considered "high time" for these engines ? They have had good maintenance however, are they nearing their end ? Perhaps I should keep looking ? Thanks for your replies. Bill"
