Can someone tell me what type

Can someone tell me what type of ignition system is on my 03 Volvo Penta 5.0 Gxi. According to my Seloc manual they state there are 6 different systems.

Conventional breaker points
Delco Electronic Spark Timing System (EST)
Prestolite Breakerless Inductive Distributor (BID)
Volvo Electronic Engine Management (EMM)
Ford Thick Film Intergrated Ignition System (TFI-IV)
Distributorless Electronic Ignition (DEI)

Now on the chart next to the 5.0 GXi they have NA.
Can someone explain to me what this NA means? What ignition system do I have?

"I could be wrong, but NA norm

"I could be wrong, but NA normally stands for "not available" or "not applicable".

If you get the serial number and phone your VP dealer he should be able to tell you what ignition system you have installed.

Meanwhile:

You don't have conventional breaker points (1).

You don't have a Prestolite Breakerless Inductive Distributor (BID) (3).

You don't have (5) as your engine is not a Ford.

You don't seem to have a (6), as the chart shows a distributor for your engine.

And somehow, I don't think you have (4).

But even if I am right, that does not necessarily mean you have (2), either. Again, a call to a VP dealer or to a VP shop may be the best way to find the right answer to your question."
