"The port side portion of my hydraulic tilt on my Yamaha leaked out and now the engine is stuck in the up position. It's a 150 V6 and it's heavy. It is getting power, making noise but won't move. Before I take if off, should I prop it up to support the weight? Can these things be rebuilt? Please advise. Many thanks"

Got it thanks. Where can I get the tool needed to take off the top of the cylinder? ?I guess I should replace all the o-rings in the port side cylinder where I saw the fluid leaking out?

I drove my Harley 5 hours on Saturday morning looking for this tool. Great riding weather but no luck finding the tool. I went to Deale, MD and the dealership there, that works on Yamaha's, told me they don't sell tools...

I ordered the o-rings and things and they will be in by this Friday. I have a brother in-law on the eastern shore who is a boat mechanic and he said he has the tool. I plan on visiting him once I get the parts."
