I just had my boat reupholster
I just had my boat reupholstered and the piece where the throttle control was redone so there may have been some movement of the casing.
The throttle go forward with no problem but when I bring it backward to go in reverse it barely will go in reverse at all. It sticks right after reverse is engaged. if I pull out the button which takes it out of gear it moves both ways with no issue and will reach full rpm in reverse but as soon as I put it in gear it wont go past 1 oclock when normally it will go to 3 or 4 oclock. Any ideas. hopefully its just a wire or something but I know nothing about transmissions or the throttle control.
